Weddings, 2023 season: twelve, from the Piacenza castles to the mountains

Twelve weddings between 29 April and 7 October 2023: Rivalta and Paderna, valleys between rock walls, courtyards and hills. Two GH5S with different lenses, a GH6, the drone with aerial photos, a shotgun microphone and a recorder for the ceremony; for two couples, the whole ceremony, uncut.

Twelve weddings in just over five months: the season with the most weddings in our archive.

The calendar

  • April: the 29th.
  • May: the 20th, in Rivalta, and the 25th.
  • June: the 3rd, and the 24th at the Castle of Paderna, the same one as in 2018.
  • July: the 22nd and the 29th, in mountain valleys between rock walls and vineyards.
  • September: the 2nd, 9th, 14th and 16th.
  • October: the 7th.

The kit, and what gets delivered

Two Panasonic GH5S, with different lenses, one wide and one long, or one on the gimbal and one on the rig; in September a GH6 as well; in October, for the first time, the Sony cameras. The drone at almost every wedding, for aerial photos too. For the audio, a shotgun microphone at one wedding, a recorder dedicated to the ceremony at another.

For two couples, on top of the rest, the whole ceremony, uncut, in a single file.

XNL Musica: four rooms for electronic music and jazz, opened by Ryoichi Kurokawa

From 2023 to 2024 we directed the XNL Musica project, on level -1 of XNL Piacenza: rooms by Boxy System, with an ambisonic room of sixteen loudspeakers arranged in a sphere, a control room, a jazz room and a hall for ensemble music. On 3 May 2024 they were opened by Ryoichi Kurokawa: 350 seats sold out in three days.
