For conservatories and higher arts education
One conservatory,
one supplier.
Technology, software, printers, funding calls, international projects, productions. We have done it since 2016 at the Nicolini Conservatory in Piacenza: from the inside. We know how a registry works, what a teacher asks for, how much an acceptance test weighs.

“G. Nicolini” Conservatory
The one we know best. We run its IT and technology support, the multifunction printers of its offices and library, its website and the systems of its halls. Since 2020 we have followed its funding calls, from the Salone’s control room to XNL Musica, and we hold the scientific responsibility for two EU-funded (PNRR) projects.

What we do
Eight jobs, one phone call.
- 01
IT and technology support under contract
Maintenance, technical support, supervision and backing for all the institution’s technology infrastructure. In practice, a help desk for teachers, offices and students.
- Workstations in offices, classrooms and library
- Network, Wi-Fi, institutional accounts, email and certified email
- Backup, switchboard, room booking, video conferencing
- 02
Hall systems: audio, video, lights
Halls, auditoriums and equipped classrooms are real installations: trusses, projectors, audio systems, DMX lines. We maintain them, check them and supervise anyone who works on them, because a suspended device is first of all a safety matter.
- Maintenance and checks of suspended equipment
- Design of listening rooms and control rooms, immersive too
- Camera kits for lessons, exams and concerts
- 03
Syncoda, the electronic register
A register written from scratch for one-to-one lessons, ensemble classes and the calendars of a conservatory: the roll call, the minutes of whoever arrives late, the topic covered, the signature on the lesson. Around it sit admissions, the student’s career and study plan, exams and the final exam, fees through pagoPA.
- Designed with teachers and registries
- In-house team: interface, frontend, backend
- Born inside conservatories
- 04
Printers and multifunction devices for a flat fee
Lease, maintenance, technical service and toner in one fee, for administrative offices and the library. One-year or three-year contracts, with counters always available.
- Kyocera A3 and A4 multifunction devices
- Response within 24–48 working hours
- Client area with counters and fault reporting
- 05
Funding calls and grants
A conservatory the size of Piacenza’s could not have afforded, on its own, what the Nicolini has today: the funding calls made the difference. Since 2020 we have followed them for the Conservatory in the areas we know: we read the call, write the project and the budget, prepare the tenders, test what arrives and report the spending.
- DM 86, 2020: digital teaching and services
- DM 734, 2021: the Salone’s equipment, renewed
- PNRR, digital public administration: attendance, registries, XNL Musica access
- XNL Musica, 2023–2024: the rooms and the opening
- Decree 124, 2023: three internationalisation projects
- 06
International projects and research
For EU-funded (PNRR) internationalisation projects we take on scientific responsibility: project direction, software, 3D scanning and modelling of halls and faces, acoustic sampling, coordination of live events and production, research and tests with partners, technical reports.
- The Four Turandot: Augusta, Milan, Daegu, Hangzhou
- Oriental: Expo 2025 Osaka, 360° filming and immersive audio
- Labs at XNL Musica and at the Conservatory
- 07
Festivals, exhibitions and productions
Technical direction, audio service, recordings and filming, sound paths for exhibitions. Oltre le nuvole (Beyond the Clouds), at XNL in 2026, was an exhibition of national standing: more than eight thousand visitors from seventeen countries, and coverage by RAI, Italy’s public broadcaster. Gianmarco was one of its three curators and curated its music; we built the sound, with twenty-eight loudspeakers and a 16.2-channel listening room. And at the dAS Festival, Xavier Le Roy’s Le Sacre du Printemps, with sixty-two loudspeakers in the hall and the audience in the place of the orchestra.
- Oltre le nuvole, XNL 2026: the exhibition’s music and sound
- dAS Festival 2026: technical direction, 62 loudspeakers for Le Sacre
- XNL Aperto 2025 and the MusicMediale Festival
- Recordings and productions at XNL Musica

The institution’s website
We designed and built the Nicolini Conservatory’s website between 2022 and 2023, and it is still its website. A conservatory publishes calls, events, timetables and rankings every week: it needs sections in the right place and a site that is easy to update. Then newsletters, statistics, graphics and content for seasons and open days.
- Official notice board and transparency section where they belong
- Studies, admissions, Erasmus+, library, room booking
- More languages for students coming from abroad
