From Wix to Astro: Giorgia Orsi’s website

A website rebuilt from scratch, faster and with no fee: three paths, the class calendar, bookings, reviews and a newsletter. It is online at www.giorgiaorsi.it.

The home page of www.giorgiaorsi.it in a browser window, with the headline “Movement becomes an experience of deep well-being” and a photo of Giorgia dancing with a fuchsia veil; beside it, the same page on a phone.

Giorgia Orsi teaches pilates, dance therapy and Danzatricità® in Piacenza. Her website was on Wix: slow, with a monthly fee and placeholder texts that had been sitting there for years.

We rebuilt it from scratch with Astro: static pages, very fast, served by Cloudflare. Colours, logo and typefaces are those of her brand; the class calendar, bookings and reviews have a small database behind them and a private area from which Giorgia manages everything herself.

The site is online at www.giorgiaorsi.it, in Italian.

The class calendar

The calendar for September 2026: the days with classes are lit and marked with the colours of the paths, pilates, Danzatricità®, dance therapy and creative dance.
Tap a lit day to see classes, venues and times.

The classes live in a calendar: tap a day, see the venues and the times, book a place. The booking reaches Giorgia, who finds it in her private area together with the others for the same class; whoever prefers can write to her on WhatsApp from the same form.

Reviews are left from the site, and Giorgia decides which to publish. At the bottom of the page there is the newsletter.
