Festival MusicMediale: two weeks across galleries and theatres
Concerts in a gallery, a live set under the porticoes, an opera at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza and in Milan. The technical production is ours.
From 6 to 23 June 2026 the Festival MusicMediale crossed Piacenza and reached Milan. For us it was the first festival we took on with a stock of equipment that was all our own.
The calendar
- 6 June — concert at the Galleria Ricci Oddi, in the series Memorie Sonore al Femminile.
- 13 June — an afternoon and a live set under the porticoes of the Galleria.
- 16 June — panel on artistic research, with the PhD students, in the hall of the Fondazione.
- 21 June — La Vera Storia dell’Angelo Invisibile, an opera at the Teatro Municipale di Piacenza.
- 23 June — the same opera in Milan.
What we brought
An Achat 208 main system, the fifteen-inch subs, eight stage monitors, twenty-one stands, the power amplifiers in their racks. For the festival we completed the stock: the subs, the digital power amplifier with DSP, the stands and the spacer poles arrived at the warehouse in May, just in time.
What we learned
That a festival spread across several venues is a problem of logistics before it is one of audio: every evening a different place, a different acoustic, a caretaker’s hours to keep to. The gear has to be prepared in racks that are already wired, and the van has to be loaded in the order in which it is unloaded.
